Check out this really, really hilarious viral video that is currently one of the chart-busters on YouTube & Google Videos. It seems to be from some Telugu movie and is clearly inspired by MJ’s Thriller. And it is downright funny, bordering on the scary & weird.
While this is obviously to be enjoyed for its comic element, the thousands of comments in response to the video show how globally viral social media can add to the negative stereotyping about anything (in this case about a country-India). For a country that produces the largest number of cinematic movies in the world, this is just a drop in the ocean, but I am not sure if the early adopter, YouTube-ish audience will appreciate that. I can’t understand Indian, but the singer’s expression enough to make me laugh. Moreover he has that fake jaw. hahahaha
