Regarding the name, I was thinking of something that conveys the meaning “Wiki for Indian startups”. Desistartups Wiki appeared like over advertising. DesiWiki appeared like a decent compromise (and also shares the word desi with the blog. So some sought of branding as well )

I guess more than the wiki, the content matters. Very unfortunate to say that despite people like you supporting this initiative, a number of bloggers have rejected my request to copy contents from their blog.

But I don’t thnk this would matter much in the long run. I am sure, the startup community (Can I use this word?), would come together to support this initiative.
