Hello all young enterpreneurs/ would be enterpreneurs, I have a thought of starting a HR based company for almost 8 yrs, but the only problem is how do I start. I have done B.E (mech) + MBA, and working in fortune 100 comy in jr. managerial cadre.

yr above thing is about the software and all, please come out with the basic start ups and the finances

Thanks Amit for covering DesiWiki and also for the useful links, which I could copy after getting permissions from the bloggers.

Regarding the name, I was thinking of something that conveys the meaning “Wiki for Indian startups”. Desistartups Wiki appeared like over advertising. DesiWiki appeared like a decent compromise (and also shares the word desi with the blog. So some sought of branding as well :))

I guess more than the wiki, the content matters. Very unfortunate to say that despite people like you supporting this initiative, a number of bloggers have rejected my request to copy contents from their blog.

But I don’t thnk this would matter much in the long run. I am sure, the startup community (Can I use this word?), would come together to support this initiative.

Totally agree and concur with your thoughts. As I told prabhu as well, the idea is awesome. The name could have definitely been better

Still not too late to change, I’d suppose.
