Vikas,

I cant speak for others but I can tell you why I thought of it; I get lots of emails with people asking for help, advise, wanting to recruit, etc . Frankly I do not have the bandwidth or the ability to reply back to each one individually. Sow hy not let that happen without any interaction from my side?

thats the idea behind the forum ; off course if people do not find it useful, then it will not pick up ... thats fine

Hey Amit - this is great, but shouldn't we try have a single forum across the few startup blogs that exist in India. We all know that traffic will be meager at best in each of these forums.

Since the agenda is to encourage discussions between startup folks, I'd think its better to try unify these tools across pluggdin, venturewoods, watblog, alootechie, etc. than having discrete forum/job tools at each of the blog sites.

Ofcourse every startup wants to build their own community, but I am assuming you are doing this more to uplift the startup ecosystem than to make a business out of it.

Just my 2p...
