Why website address (URL) should be short and simple?

Check out the snap below; need one say more?

www.kapoormedicalandambulanceservices.com… one ambulance length seems too short for this…

Thanks Ashwan for the image tip off.

Long URL’s also has some advantages-it captures a lot of relevant keywords which count a lot for Google.

And for the traffic is coming from any search engine or any other referrer website, the URL length does not matter.

Is it a website name or train name? All such names are by default treated as spam urls so forget about taking any benefit from the long urls.

    Gaurav,

I do not think SEo will do any good in this case; this is a local service; something that is helpful to people living in the vicinity. URl lenght matters because people will search for the website directly , or read it from signboards, visiting cards…

SEO helps if the service is footloose and not localised.

I do not think this is the case at all for a local ambulance services.
