Glad you liked the slides. In my session, I plan to cover two of the primary sources for geek-speak: 1) as shorthand and 2) from memes. 

In both cases, it serves as a way for communication between geeks, keeping outsiders puzzled (hence the title).

The section on lolcats covers a few major themes, e.g. can has, has a, falvr, want/do not want, nom, basement/ceiling cat, doin it wrong, invisible, in ur base killin ur doods, caturday.

Should be a fun session. I'm hoping for a nice mix of geeks and non-geeks to make it fun. Thanks.</description>
