Everything you always wanted to know about Google…but were afraid to ask

Things move fast on the web, no doubt. One of the first things I do on getting to office every morning is to check the most viewed page on slideshare (its part of my daily drill). Today the top of the charts was this awesome deck “Everything you always wanted to know about Google…but were afraid to ask“. I spent not more than 60 seconds browsing through it and it was instantly and absolutely clear that this deck was what you could pay a king’s ransom for. I got our content team to feature this on the slideshare homepage.. just a few hours later I find that this has been embedded on Techcrunch and is quickly propogating across the web (3k views, 25 favorites, 25 embeds… rest assured, this is now spreading like a virus)

About the deck- it details every possible aspect of Google’s existence in a manner that is hard to describe… in fact it is not just a great compilation about Google, it is useful for understanding the underlying constructs & structures about the internet itself.

Who has created this deck? This is from a France based consulting firm called FaberNovel… they regularly publish research on web related topics - previous studies on Facebook, open source software, web2.0 etc are all very popular on slideshare.
