Why should an ex-president be exempt from frisking when he is traveling commercial? What is the guarantee he is not carrying a weapon? I adore APJ, so this is not meant to be against him, but against the idea that VIPs need to be treated differently. It was amusing to see the MPs go into a tizzy on this minor incident.
